The Multi Style Martial Arts System Adult Program will provide our students with a well-balanced, "street smart" self-defense system. Most styles of martial arts tend to focus on just individual areas of self-defense. Practicing a combination of the best of the best styles gives IMAA students the edge they need to overcome any obstacle or attack situation. Our classes will get you in the best shape of your life, while learning practical techniques. Learn how to defend yourself and enjoy the confidence that comes with that knowledge. The ability to defend yourself, and/or your family and friends in virtually every type of threatening situation is probably the greatest benefit of studying martial arts. Our program combines strength training, cardio conditioning, flexibility, nutrition... Learn how to take care and control of your mind and body.
A common myth is that you must be young and in shape to take Martial Arts. Nothing could be further from the truth!
We train our students to the best of their ability. Some students come to us in shape, while other have come to us 100 pounds overweight. Most come to us with limited flexibility. Adults start at any age, as we have had some adults who started as late as age 73, and have still earned their black belts. As a student, you are looked upon as an individual, never compared to anyone else. Our instructor will be there every step of the way. All that is expected of you is a willingness to try.
